What are the best places to eat in Junction City? What are the really good restaurants that are also clean? 

We like el tapatia and sometimes sirion stockade. Their food is cold if u go later in evening. Best bet would be to drive to manhattan

Coachs. Peking, senor tequila, Yamato,Mandarin Garden are all good clean places to eat in Junction City. 

I dunno, people call me a neat freak. 

Not super clean but ok is Family Buffet by walmart, does look Ghetto but their food is actually very good and I never got sick there (;

I like sugar shack.. good ol soul food and the prices are cheap..

Cracker Barrel, El Tapitio, and El Senor. I can't wait for whenever Cox's finally gets built! Coaches is awful! We tried it and will never go back!

As a Mexican I can honestly say El Tapatio is not authentic, its not that good. Señor Tequila is the closest your gonna get to authetic here in JC but they have La Fiesta and Los Cocos in Manhattan that are way better. God I miss home!! lol
Whatever you do stay away from 6th st McDonalds the people and the food are crappy!!

I love Peking on Washington street in Junction City. 

I've had Coaches too, it's really bad! My family did not enjoy it at all. 

kites has had its last opportunity with me ...everytime i go in ..even on a slow day..tables are dirty and food is slow and bad or comes out cold. Dirty silverware and plates I kept thinking it was just the management but i heard it changed and went back in again and its was just as bad. 

Korean Garden on Grant. Gotta get the beef bulgogi...it is awesome!! We always take out of town friends & family there for their first Korean food experience & they ALWAYS like it. I crave it ALL the time! & it's always clean! 

Yuck that Kites sounds awful! I get so grossed out when things are dirty, especially in a restaurant. There's also an Olive Garden in Manhattan right? What places are there for like an anniversary or something special? 

Well, I plan on taking my hubbs to Longhorns Steakhouse in Manhattan on his birthday, which is coming up soon. Haven't been to the one here yet but the one in TN, that we went to, was awesome! 

Longhorns is good...went there twice so far and the food MMMmmmmmm...oh and good service 

Manhattan also has Houlihans, and a few nice places on Pointz downtown that would be good for special occasions.

The first time I ever went in there, it wasn't bad..since every visit has been worse than the one before. I have had a better experience at the one in Manhattan.

As far as Longhorn, the food was good but expensive. Very expensive if you take yourself and kids, lol. I took the kids and myself, and ended up spending $65. That is 2 adult meals (my oldest ate one) and 2 kid meals, plus drinks--one of them was water (me), the rest were sodas/juice. I did one appetizer--the cheapest on the menu too. It was more than when we go to Olive Garden. I dread taking the hubby to there too, as I can see the price going up at least $20 if the kids are with us.

I have a list of restaurants I want to go too, to try. Might I suggest Coco Bolos if you like latin infused food. SOOOOOO good, great service, and a great atmosphere. 

Harry's or 4 Olives in Manhattan are 2 really nice places for a special evening (like an anniversary) :)

lol yeah mine can really eat. It makes for expensive trips no matter what restaurant we go too--be it fast food or a nice sit down place.

I have one who loves the good stuff and orders the expensive ...I just hope she gets a great job or a rich hubs who can afford her or maybe both since she likes top of the line seafood and steak.

I have heard the manhattan kites is better but havent tried them as the JC one has ruined me I guess. I do enjoy the Hibatchi Hut/Texas Star in manhattan. I want to try that sugar shack and korean garden now :) lol
