I am a cloth Mom myself. So anytime we go near the diaper aisle I just glance around like I am lost lol. We were told for about 3 days after my son has surgery he would need to use disposables. So I am wondering what brand everyone uses. WE used the natural huggies when he was first born, but he is 8 months old now (9 months the day after surgery). Should be an easy topic!

I use a variety, depends on what coupons I have, but if I had to choose... my fav is Pampers.

I use the walmart brand. I have had the best luck with them. We have also used Targets brand and they are great too. Since you are only using them for a few days it probably won't matter too much what you use. Between Huggies or Pampers I would choose Pampers. Hope this helps

For my daughter, the only diapers I've been able to use for her are the Pampers Baby Dry. I tried the walmart brand and she always peed out of them and the other brands gave her bad rashes. We use the baby dry because you get a better deal with those than the pampers cruisers, you get more for your money.

OMG... i have had a time with diapers. at first, baby zach was in target brand diapers. they are much cheaper and are stinkin cute for boys (they have blue and green polka dots on them). However, once he got into size 4s we started having MAJOR issues with nasty poopy messes. I was like screw it and got Pampers. I still had the same issue. I tried pampers cruisers. They seemed to work better, but I ended up using huggies supreme. I have never had so many issues diapering a baby and keeping the mess contained. it is safe to say that zach is a pain in the a$$ at times. LOL. a cute one, but a pain all the same. ;)

I use Pure n gentle. They sale them at the commy. I got them because i was going to potty train my daughter so i was like i'll just get cheap ones to get us through and they actually turned out to be good diapers and they are cheap haha. When the kiddos were younger we used Huggies but i wish i would have known about these diapers...would of saved us a ton of money!

Huggies are the only ones that Rylee can wear without breaking out on her bottom.

Huggies supreme is the only one we have ever had luck with.

huggies little movers (formerly known as natural fits) are great they are the only ones i have ever used that didn't leak.

It just really depends on if your child is going to break out or not its a hit and miss. Everyone i know had to use huggies becuase their child would break out other wise. Now with my friends child its un true. lol. he can wear huggies but if he wears them too long he will break out thats the case with any diaper for him. so she has to buy 2 brand of diapers and alternate them so he doesnt break out. Weird i know. Only thing you can do is if you have to buy disposable diapers is to buy a small package and try them out so you are not waaisting money on a huge box of diapers that you cant use.

I used pampers cruisers but now dont have to worry about it since he wear underwear

i used the walmart brand (parents choice) with both my kids....i tried others with my son like huggies and pampers etc and he would break out i finally tried these and they were good so when i had my daughter i said heck with it and tried them first and she hasnt had any problems....Its also a + that they are cheap..

I'm planning on only buying a small package anyhow. I only need to get through like 3 days worth. It's only for after surgery, I will be back to the cloth ASAP!

Blondie --- 14 years ago -

Then you should maybe try to cheapest kind you can find, LOL, since you don't need a lot. You never know what will work for your specific child, I wish I could use the off-brands for my daughter and save money!
