Go to ebay and search for "empty paper rolls" You will not believe what people will pay for empty rolls for crafts. You could pay for a tank of gas every month from it. I showed my son how he could make $$$ and he told my wife "We need more fiber" 

One of the sellers had pictures of crafts you could do... now I wanna save my rolls and make some stuff. 

Ha, I never would have thought to sell them! We make them into crafts (okay, DD pretends to be a pirate for 5 minutes) but now maybe we'll make them into money. :) 

Wow, good to know. I would ask at the medical clinics for the empty rolls they have from paper on the beds. It comes on long rolls. I used to save them and use them to make things for my kids. Most of the time they just toss them out. You could make a mint!

Kudos to you for teaching your child at an early age that he too can make money. When my daughter was 7-8 she made these ribbon-covered hangers and sold them at craft fairs for $1-$2 a piece. They were really popular in the area we lived at the time and she was making money hand over fist. When the demand got too high and began to interfere with school she had to let the business go, but she made a ton.
