I need to change doctors on post or see about a getting a new one off post for "Woman" issues.So one of my questions is, where do I go in IACH to do so(called Tricare, they told me Ft. Riley is paticalur and you have to do it throught IACH)? Anyone have any luck changing doc's to off post? And one more...who is the best Gyno who listens at IACH? I do not want Woods again..He isnt my cup of tea....Thanks! 

Dr. Sessions is the head OB there, and he is great. I wish Dr. Batista hadn't of left, she was my favorite.

If you want to be seen off post without a referral you will have to switch to Tricare Standard and that is done at the Tricare offices on the 5th floor of the hospital. 

Batista left??? I just saw her barely a month ago. 

Well, that is what I was told. She is sick or something. I will have to check again when I go back.

I called tricare today to see what i needed to do for a referral since ob tells me tricare wont refer anymore but they will copy my records and tell me to stay in the town we live to deliver. Tricare told me its my primary dr that would need to refer and that my primary dr is dr adams who is in cauldwell clinic. I said i have never been to a regular dr and i have never heard of that clinic. And this is my first duty station so it wouldnt be somewhere else. So the guy proceeds to look up the clinic to give me the number and cant find it anywhere in kansas. So he wants me to change my primary doctor and sends me to another department who then says well u have to do this online or at the tricare office and this isnt the right department for refferals. Wow no kidding. 2 hours on the phone with tricare and more confused than ever. I just wantes to know why they are all the sudden copying your ob records and telling u to stay in manhattan or clay center and not to try to drive to irwin if you are home when u go into labor, but them they wont refer u to see a dr there the last couple weeks so they could atleast review your records before you walk in and say suprise im in labor. They did this with my last child and the dr told me try not to do this again cause its dangerous if something is missed last minute. Hope u have better luck than me
