I swear my house is haunted lol. My husband and I will be sitting here and can hear foot steps going up and down our stairs, sounds of people walking above us, at least once a week a set of our curtains will be ripped out of the wall, we put the curtain rod hooks up with wood screws & anchors, we will wake up or come into a room and they will be ripped out of the wall & the hooks bent, our blinds will just fall while we are sitting here and no one touching them. We ended up just leaving the shades off the windows. Our son was sitting at his desk the other day and his curtains literally fell off the wall, however the hooks were still screwed in ... so strange , i think my house is haunted lol

we live in colyer, i was just sitting here and heard a loud thump in our bedroom, went up there and a shade was laying on the floor. And the holders are not loose or bent. 

Heck with that. I'd ask for different quarters, lol.

Have you considered putting up a video camera to record it so you can see what it is? 

lol we have one here in our house. If we leave one of our bedroom doors closed at night...the person sleeping in that room, sometimes has issues sleeping or somthing bothering them while sleeping. I hear things every so often...and I am pretty sure I have seen something every so often in the night! a lil freaky. 

Thats odd because ever since we moved into here, im ot joking but EVERY night at 0330 my husband and I wake up out of a hard sleep for no reason at all. We look around and go back to sleep.

I do know when ever I take pictures inside my house there are always orbs in it, now this may be something or it may just be dust in the air but there is ALWAYS orbs no matter what room, lighting, or time of day. 

also i was just thinking, our cat has became VERY vocal at night since moving in here, he will sometimes sound like he is frightened by something, but only at night. He will meow and cry for hours at a time between the hours of 10 pm and 6 am ...hmmmm now im starting to think of all these little odd things that i never added up before lol

Hm. You know what, now that you say that, I probably would be too scared to look at the footage, lol. I may take a peek and see something I don't want to see :D! 

I don't want to scare you or anything but I know there was a house fire in colyer the 3-4 bedrooms houses. A girl couldn't get out of the house and burned. That was years ago. You could went by the house and still see her handprint on the window. But now a family is living there. I've had the same problems in Ellis heights when we lived up there.

lovmysoldier i thought that to, when we first moved in someone tried telling me that ft riley was on an indian burial ground.. i was skeptical but when we were down in coyler i started wondering. at night there was always something going up and down our stairs while my husband was gone in the field or whatever. i was telling my neighbor about it and she said the same thing with her when her husband was deployed and her daughter use to tell us that some man would tuck her in at night when she would kick her blanket off kinda scared me i was happy to move. in forsyth tho my youngest son told me that he would play ball with a lil boy that had feathers all around his head that really scared me. thank god we moved! 

11 more months until we move, I cant wait LOL 

My advice to you is to IGNORE it whatever "it" is because if it is in fact paranormal it feeds off your energy I know its easier said then done but try, dont get freaked out just chalk it up to an old house that makes noises . My oldest son had the most trouble when he came to visit us because he was terrified an freaked out and ours actually manifested into a semi solid form. BUT when he was not there things were relatively quiet.

Jewelz the camera battery died 3 minutes after turning it on accordig the camera, which is impossible since we had it PLUGGED in, not running on battery power but you can see when we play it back that the low battery alert starts flashing on the screen and this morning our blind in our kitchen window was down. And our male cat cried like someone was hurting him last night, scared the crap out of me I jumped out of bed to go find him and he was huddled in the corner at the top of our steps 

I keep telling myself maybe its just the house settling from the heat and what not...

In all seriousness, are you really comfortable being there? If you are I commend you, but I would get irritated after a while.

Are you going to try to set the camera up again? 

Yes Im comfortable, as long as they arent hurting me, my family or our cats I am fine. They can play their games with the windows.
Yes Im going to try the camera again tonight, I think Im going to try and hide it behind the tv or something instead of setting it in the same place. 

I would call housing and tell them that you arent paying for holes in the wall caused by ghosts ripping curtain rods, etc out of the carpet. 

i mean out of the wall lol. that should be an interesting phone call 

Have you tied having your house cleansed? Burning sage is suppost to cleanse your home and objects of negative energies. And quartz is suppost to keep negative energies away. Both are used in many different religions and cultures. 

Noi havent tried that, but I have thought of burning sage but dont know where to get it, i know that the ones they burn are bundles 

I was also going to suggest praying over the home (or getting your husband's Chaplain in to do it if you don't have a relationship with the Lord). That is the first thing I'd do. No offense, but if whatever is in your house isn't paying rent they should be evicted, lol. 

I have had Chaplains bless our homes at every other posts, but this one they wont do it. I dont know if they just arent allowed or we just have a "iffy" chaplain.

The third night in our house I was walking out of my bedroom and saw a small shadow going down the stairs and called to my daughter asking what she was doing. My husband called back that she was in her room with him playing cars. I KNOW I saw a shadow, but there was no explanation for it.

Right after hubs deployed I thought I was having a nightmare about a ghost in our house, but then I realized I was awake and
