Does anyone know of internet companies that service clay center? I know of twin valley but they want to charge for a phone too and i dont want to pay an extra $25 for something i dont want and will not use. I wish centurylink went out there 

You can try Eagle Communications out of Abilene. I think they service Clay Center... and you don't even have to sign a contract with them like you would if you went with twin valley.

How long does it really take to get to ft riley? We are looking at a place out there but it says it takes almost an hour! 

My husband leaves an hour before he has to be there because of traffic getting onto post. Sometimes its not bad but other times it is. We live on the north side of clay and have to drive through town a ways before u hit the 65 mph. When i go to j.c. or ft riley it hasnt taken me more than 40 min 

the house we are looking at looks like it is on the outskits of town.. like on hackberry... 

So far i am enjoying clay center. Nice neighborhood and very small town. I hope u enjoy it if u move here

My hubby went from a 5 min drive from j.c. to the 40 min drive. Its shorter if rifle range drive is open. He doesnt seem to mind. The only part he doesnt like is having to stay on post from the time he goes to pt till the time he gets off 

Twin Valley in town does internet svc 

We had a storage room in Clay Center... even tho the drive wasnt long, it felt long. 45 minutes isnt a long time to me, but since I'm driving past a whole bunch of nothing, it almost feels like 4 hours ;)
