We're currently selling king size and larger fundraising candy bars to raise money for a seizure assist/seizure alert dog for my daughter who has epilepsy and condition has worsened. These are the actual fundraising candy bars from a fundraising company. They also come with a coupon for subway with each one purchased for $.50 cents off a six inch sub or $1.00 of a footlong. The coupons expire 12/31/2011. The cost is $2.00 per candy bar. There are kit kats, hershey with almonds, reeces peanut butter cups and twizzlers. I would be happy to show you the information that this is a legit fundraiser. All proceeds will go to the purchase of her seizure assist/seizure alert dog. I want to send out a HUGE thank you to everyone that purchased candy bars today and for the donations that some of you made. It brings us that much closer to being able to making this a reality.

I also would like to think the staff at the training schools and Performance Audio for helping get rid of the last box of candy.

We managed to sell 120 candy bars today and will have more in about 2 weeks. Thank you all again so much for your support.

Cate-we're going through Seizure Alert Dogs For Life out of New York state. It's a for profit agency because all of the non profit agencies have a waiting list which is anywhere from 2-5 years or they don't service our area because they don't have a representative within a 150 mile radius of Ft. Riley.

Mandi that is a great agency to work with. I am a certified service dog trainer and I work with autism service dogs of america. My son has autism and now has a german shepherd as his dog she is great. I would love to order some or just make a donation, I know how beneficial service dogs can be. 

Thank you so much Bahamian Diva. They've been wonderful to work with this far and have answered every single question and really helped alot. I called almost every single organization out there for seizure assist dogs and it's mind boggling how few there are and the wait times. My daughter needs something now more than ever. I think it's great that your son has one and I think the service dog will also help my daughter. We should have the candy bars by April 16th. We also ordered the epilepsy awareness bracelets and will be doing a fundraiser selling raffle tickets for a vehicle that was donated by my family. Thank you so much for your words of encouragement and hope. 

please let me know when you have more and where i can pick up, i love candy and if it for a good reason it makes it even better, i also have a sister that grew up with epilepsy and she ended up getting better before she graduated high school, so please let me know when and i will be making a trip to post
