Just wanted to mention that Ive seen a recent increase in the amount of new accounts and with those are those who are just looking to start drama or trouble. If you have someone making off the wall comments ..deliberately posting negative comments or making personal statements these are trolls trying to start trouble or get a rise out of people.

there are a few who have filtered over from the help forum as well as some who have friends who have been iced/unhappy with the forum who are trying to cause trouble or win a bet as they have mentioned.

unfortunately this comes with public forums but one way is to check their profile if its new and if all their comments that they make are just nasty or unhelpful you are being targeted. flag them and ignore is my suggestion. As they just want to upset people for their own fun. 

What is with the newbies starting drama? Its pretty annoying! Is there anything the mods can do to stop them or do they just have to be flagged and ice boxed? 

All we can do is either edit their comments where they are blank, flag, or ice box them. Also the people on here can hide that persons comments, sorta like ignore, they can see your comments but you wont see theirs on that post. 

Just ignore them, let them post what they want and pay no attention to them.

i think when you start an account on here you have to use real information so they can find the fake people and possibly punish them for harrasment..i was just reading a post on here someones stuff got stolen out of their own house and some jerkoff was saying they know the woman is lying and blah blah blah..WTH?? how rude..how does that person know if it happend or not??..i also noticed alot of the rude comments towards people, their account has just been made up that day..so its obvious they're fake people just trying to get a rise out of people..and im sure its the same person doing it over and over..they need to get a life...some of it is funny to read but when you start talking about peopllles kids and deployed husbands then thats just not right. 

I wish they did it like other forums where the newbs could get approved or we get a list of them so we can watch them. That would be so much easier. Just when you see them flag their comments if it has nothing to do with the conversation or is rude. 

Macgruber is from Campbell underground as is a few others. Give it a week and they will leave. They never stick around long. Thats about all you can do.

I guess someone didn't like it much, because they deleted it. I will admit it now.. It was me.:) I had a couple hate mail over it but its all good;) 

Yeah the macgruber guy doesnt bother me. He just come in and spreads randomness and then goes away...spices up some of the post a bit. haha.
