I just got home from the commissary and saw an MP car talking with two adults and 2 teenagers talking with another mp. I couldn't quite figure out what was going on until my daughter came downstairs and said did you see the dog on the roof? I looked outside and low and behold there is a very large dog on top of our neighbor's roof. There is no way on earth this dog could have gotten up there without some unwanted help. So if you're missing a blonde dog, with no collars in Forsyth, your dog is on the roof of a house by the park. Just amazes me what kids will do these days. 

WOW that's animal abuse. Reason # 25 on why parents need to keep a better watch on their kids no matter the age. 

LOL as sad as it is...its still kinda funny! Could you imagine driving down the road and seeing a dog on the roof???

Let's hope that these kids did not do this and maybe the dog knocked out a screen or something. If it was the kids, I hope the parents beat that a$$. 

It was probably one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen. But the dog was extremely scared, he was hunkered up on the side and wouldn't budge. I'm certain it wasn't the owner's dog, because they don't have a dog. I would like to think that somehow he could have managed to have gotten up there without help but it was the top of the garage roof which is pretty high and there were no vehicles in the driveway. There may be more to what really happened but it was by far one of the most craziest and saddest things I've seen. 

I don't think it's funny at all. It's sick. What kind of kids get a kick out of torturing innocent animals?? There is something severely wrong with them. If that was my dog I would loose my mind!! I couldn't imagine the terror that dog must have felt. I really hope someone saw them do it and they are punished to the fullest extent.

it is totally sick, some people should just be shot for being stupid! I hope the dog got down and to it's owners safely, that just breaks my heart!

BTW this didn't happen here. Her dog made it down safely and wasn't harmed. 

they did get the dog down to safety, i don't know if animal control took the dog or what happened to him, but my husband was going over to see if he could use our ladder to climb up there to get him down and he was already down and gone. 

Wow the whole thing is crazy! Even the story about the Dane, I have two Danes and they are the biggest babies, they don't even like to jump in the truck when its time to take them to the vet, to get groomed, or to the dog park. I couldn't imagine driving by and seeing a dog of that size on a roof! Would deffinatley be something I'd remember. 

That is very disturbing and I personally didn't get any humor out of it either. I hope that the MPs didn't just tell the kids to not do it again and actually will be doing something about it because it should fall under animal abuse. Hopefully the owners can have something done. 

Yes I saw that too and I am glad the dog was safe 

I wasnt saying that what they did was funny, I was merely saying that seeing a dog on the roof would have been a sight to see. I am sorry if I worded it wrong. Its not everyday you would drive down the road and see Rover on the roof. Of course I had nothing but concern for the animal and I hope he got down safely. And just for humanity sake, I hope he wasnt put up there.
