Any raves/reviews on local markets? Has anyone ventured out to the Chapman farmer's market?

Is a grocery store being built out that way? I'd so enjoy a Ray's Apple Market closer to post. :) 

There is a bank and a grocery store being built in Chapman. The farmers market is a hit or miss; been there when there was quite a bit and others where there was hardly anyone there. 

Do you happen to know how late into the Fall the market runs?

What companies are opening up the bank and grocery store?

Is anyone else getting super excited that pumpkin picking time is nearing?! :D

I believe one is going to be the new location for Astra bank. Not sure about the grocery store. Also not sure about how long the farmers market will run, most likely just through August. 

Astra Bank already has a location in downtown Chapman, they are just building a new building on the North side of town.

The grocery store is going to be called Chapman Food Mart. The guy who runs the racing museum is behind it. Not really sure who is going to be running the place, I think he's just putting up the capital and building the place and someone else will be managing the food part. 

Abilene has a farmer's market also. In the courthouse parking lot. I believe it runs further into the fall. There's a festival in early October at the Heritage museum and the farmers market is usually set up there that morning. There are tons of home-canned goods, I remember. Haven't been down there yet this year. 

I wonder how long it will be before the Mart opens?

I am so ready for Fall and football games?! :)
The kids' first day back to school went well and now we're all geared up for sports!

Is it just my imagination, or does Abilene have a skate rink, but no movie theater?
