Shoppett rents them 27 bucks a day. My hunny bunny went and got me one...Ahhhh I am in love, I want one of these babies. I shampoo my carpet all the time and let me tell ya...My shampooer isn't doing it. Kinda glad we will never have carpet again when we move. But I do have cute rugs I like to clean....I want one of these toys....DAMN THE MAN....if you suffer from OCD and always have a sniffer working over time like mine go rent one. I am in shock....

Girl my hubby let me keep it an extra day...God bless that push over of a man...haha..I have really bad ocd..I won't lie nor hide it..I am infatuated with dirt...And I can smell dust..It is crazy almost as bad as I smell poo all the time. Anyways, this puppy has made me cry all day long...I didn't get the hand tools with it..But, I am sending him back to get them...The water is comming out black. And anyone who knows me can tell you I shampoo at least once a week...I am just shocked...And kinda grossed out to...but more just shocked.... 

Is it sad that for Valentines I had asked for our carpets to be cleaned as my gift? I have a 3 year old and 7 month old so my carpets are NEVER clean enough. 

LOL My husband knows get me a new advanced cleaning toy and he is my hero. He makes me mad he doesn't bring me flowers he brings me a new cleaning toy...LOL
I don't want anything this year at all...I didn't get anything for Christmas this year either..>I want new kitchen appliances, floor, paint, and livingroom furniture.....
I don't have any little people in my home but because of my immune system I have to always worry about dirt... 

So how does this rug doctor work? I will be pcsing in a few months and god know my carpets need a deep cleaning. I tried peroxcide and dawn for spot cleaning and it didnt really do much. Also tried Windex to no avail. The carpets were already pretty worn but there are spots from my son (chocolate syrup, koolaid, etc.) And a few spots from our dog that I haven't been able to get out of the carpet. Do you think this rug doctor would work? Is it a hand cleaner or like a vacuum? I borrowed a steam cleaner from a friend and it didn't do much for my carpets, it was a cheap one from Walmart that didn't heat the water. 

The rug doctor is a shampooer it has hand tools you can pay extra to rent...It worked pretty good. I went over my livingroom carpets and let me tell ya it was amazing...
I will tell ya I use regular washing machine detergant with color safe bleach on my carpets. For a stain I would take a cup of water a tblsp of color safe bleach and mix that with hot hot hot water pour on stain let set check every 15 minutes and then shampoo it up....
It was 27 dollars for a 24 hour period. 

Blonde question, what's the difference between a shampooer and a steam cleaner 

The steamer only uses steam...A shampooer uses water and cleaner... 

If you really want your floors clean and have a spot. This will take two people what I am about to tell you.
But one person works the hand stemer where ever the spot may be work in circles starting from center of stain working outward. Other person runs shampooer...So when you get done steaming then the other person goes over spot...You two keep doing that till the spot is gone. Works good for dog tee tee to... 

I don't see my husband helping me with that lol 

I have my daughter help me usually. My husband helps me if I coax him with ice cream....It's kinda like trying to coax a puppy to come back in the house with it's favorite toy...My husband will do anything for ice cream. Well almost anything haha.... 

Do you know how much extra the hand tools are? 

No I don't know how much extra..My husband is asleep or I would ask him for ya.
