There was a thread earlier this year about power outages near the end of every month and someone had put forward a theory that it was because post was over thier monthly limit each month. Looks like you scared them from doing that this month. 

I had to laugh at that, as I was just looking outside and thinking how sinister the sky was looking; me thinks a storm is abrewing, and that usually equates to power outage(s). 

I think they were usually on Sundays. They can go ahead and knock it Sunday... we'll be grillin. 

It always does seem to happen at dinner time!!:) 

I'm baking my brownies now, and then I should be done with the oven for the day... Go ahead power, go out. 

We live in Colyer behind the bricks... Just lost power... Ugh 

Yup we live in the renovated ones on the hill in Colyer and we lost it for like 2 hours or so around lunch time. Its cool though we all took a nap haha! 

We made it over here in Forsyth with no loss... BBQ party was awesome.

I wonder what it was, I rode over by forsyth and there's a bunch of mp's. We are in colyer in the brick homes and have no power but the non brick ones have it! So jealous LOL 

It's worse at night, we can't escape it. 

The worst is when my three year old wakes up and there is no night light. :( Then trying to locate him while he's yelling for me in the pitch black dark and I'm not fully awake. lol Needless to say there wasn't much sleep last night.

So true. I couldn't sleep at all without the fan going so ended up losing almost 3 hrs of sleep until they returned the power...Uggh! I'm needing extra coffee this morning. 

I was happy it went out when it did... kids were already asleep so they didnt miss their TVs. I was already asleep and only woke up because the fan stopped. IT was sooooooooo quiet and dark outside, but it was back on in no time and I was back asleep. 

it was for about 3 hours or so and it was windy the wind was howling so bad my dog ran and hid under the bed. Colyer looked like a mess, it had tree limbs down plastic outdoor furniture ,pools & toys blown in the road, trash all over the place, leaves and limbs all through the streets. 

Yeah, ours wasnt out that long where I am in Forsyth. 

My full trashcan was knocked over and my doormat took a trip...

When we were coming home last night, we were rerouted through forsyth, i dont know if power lines were down or what

They replaced 4 power poles today accross from PX and Commisary.
