Imiss Drum. Just remember Ft Drum is what you make of it. They have a great Arts and Crafts center and the other facilities are great. They have really built up off post too. I spent 9 years there and enjoyed it all. Indian River school district blows so avoid that if you have kids. Carthage is the better one and Watertown schools are iffy. There is a great Catholic school called IHC. Enjoy your time! Oh and make sure you check out the drive in over in Alex Bay!!!! 

I remember Alex Bay!! We had family up for 4th of July and went on a boat ride there and had to wear sweatshirts!!! lol
We lived in Carthage and my kids loved the school.... 

Yea, im sure I'll be happy there, knowing my hometown is only 3 hrs away! so I can go home when I want 

I usually keep to myself anyway, I've learned the hard way which true friend are and are'nt, this time around were going to live on post there, here we live in jc

...Too bad we have to "settle" for Fort Carson, Colorado... :). I keed, I keed; I'm psyched. 

Grrrr i would love Eustis! My husband is from that area so it would be a great assignment for us! Live in Gloucester! Down homefeel! 

Yep, we're pretty excited about the change :) We will be living on post, it's our first time actually living on post so I'm excited and apprehensive at the same time. I guess because not to sure what to expect with living on post but hopefully I will steer clear of the drama cause I would hate to have to pull a Madea on somebody, lol! 

We are PCSing to Hunter Army Airfield, in Savannah, GA. I am so excited!!

My husband is going to special forces training next month, and then when he comes back at the end of october we will start out processing.

How long does it take to out process? because i was thinking that we would be in GA by the beginning of november, but he thinks its going to take at least two weeks. this is his first duty station so we havent had to go through this before. We will be living off post, so i was just hoping someone might have a better time frame to make finding a place easier. 

We've been stuck here in fort riley for 4 years, and have'nt been able to go home to see our family as much as we'd like. So this is huge for us that we got drum and be 3hrs from our home town :)Also that we know the area pretty good 

we're PCSing to Ft Sam Houston, cannot wait to get out of KS! 

Lol I cannot wait to get outta kansas too! 

Oh I miss hunter!!! The schools suck though...if we ever get a chance to go back I will def put my kids in the catholic school there, but I LOVED being in savannah and really miss it :-(
