Someone is parked outside my house in a white sports car i have never seen before, dont know if they are actually in the car or visiting neighbors but it still infuriates / creeps me out.

Husband is away for a few more hours and they are parked in his spot on my part of the curb. Where he always parks i seriously wabt to call the cops or have them towed .

Why in the heck would you randomly park ibfront of someones house unless u are planning to visit them

Creepy

Since when are people not allowed to park in front of your home? LOL. People other than my friends park in front of my house all the time. Maybe it was just the first open spot they saw. There is no assigned parking on the streets.. so your hubby's 'spot' is open for whomever. You can't have someone towed if they are parked in a legal space. Kinda silly. But JMO.

wow seriously?? umm get a grip

Angie33 --- 13 years ago -

Yep, the street is public property! People park in front of my house all the time. Now if they were to pull up in my driveway and park then that's a whole other story :)

I get annoyed when people park in front of my house. So, I feel ya.

Yup i always had problems with the neighbors that faced jackson since i lived on the corner of jackson and another street when i lived on post parking infront of my house all the time. we had 3 vehicals and could only park 2 in the drive way. and actually becuase we parked my husbands truck in the street and didnt move it for 9 months while he was deployed the butt heads across the street that wanted to park infront of my hosue becuase they didnt want to block each other in called my husbands truck in as abanded. Luckily my husband was home on r and r when i seen the mp looking around his truck becuase it had been called in as abanded. So i had my husband go out and talk to them lol. But point being its public property you cant mark your spots on the street to park

Move into my house. Then you will have people parking in front of it non-stop. I live in front of a school. It is aggravating, but there is nothing I can do about it.

We live off post and own our own home yet the people who live across the street from us have like 10 cars and always have ppl over who park around our entire home pretty much everywhere, BUT our driveway. It sucks, but what can I do? I'm not going to go beat them or anything over it. lol.

I'm from a large urban area (where parking is non-existent), so it's pretty much a given someone will park in front of your brownstone at any given time. But people get creative about saving "their" parking space. I've seen more than a few kitchen/dining room chairs placed strategically against the curb during the day so that space will be there later, lol.
