My husband and I have been here for 4, almost 5 years. Most of our good friends have PCS'd.... We were looking for a couple who might want to get together once a week or twice a month and play cards or family dinners. I feel odd saying this... lol good friends are hard to come by these days. My husband and I are 42 and 45...how old are you? Not trying to be mean but age does matter. I would really like to have more friends. I have 3 kids 25, 24 and 17 and a 4 year old grandson who lives with us.

Is it sad that I told my husband that I actually don't want even a happy birthday on my bday. I know that everyone says your still young but I just feel at my age I've not accomplished anything that I've wanted to. :(

Mine is June 2. And I bet I will make a cake so my hubby doesn't get the bright idea to try to make one since he loved red velvet and got the idea to make one a few weeks ago.....you should have seen the red stains EVERYWHERE! O but maybe we should make another thread on cakes sometime lol, because I have the perfect recipe if you like pineapples!(my sister hates cake with a passion but will eat the whole dang cake when i make it)

You ladies name the date and time and place and I will be there, and most definitely we should and will have cake we need to get together and find out who is bringing what. But Hey I am there. If it is at all possible this weekend sense it is a holiday but most have planes this weekend, but the ones who do not plane on going out of town, I think it would be a wonderful idea. The ones who have planes and are going out of town Be Safe, Be Careful, and Have Fun.

lmao SUSAN!!!! your silly Im only in it for the cake ! Ill get some plans in the works as soon as the current dilemma im having is fixed. See my son is traveling from germany to texas for his block leave and now hes stuck in Chicago till the 28th and theres NOBODY there its all closed and nobody answers the stupid customer service phone for british airways this child spent like 1,500 for his ticket and is wasting his leave time stuck there....im soooo stressed!!!
