I ordered a purse from someone on facebook, not local. I loved her work its been 2 weeks since she got my uniform and payment. She says she has all these orders and is backed p but yet shes on facebook constantly doing "contests" like every 3 hours. My question is for the seamstress out there approx how long does it take to make a purse? if shes really backed up like that then shouldnt she be working on the paid orders rather than playing games and having contests all the time. The whole time frame since I placed my order and sent in the uniforms (3 weeks) she has posted 1 finsihed purse, which happened to be a friend of hers. Im about to ask her to send my uniform back and refund my money. I understand she has orders, shes human etc but I paid for a service and she hasnt provided it, at what point should I just email and ask for my stuff back. I dont like businesses that are ran that way. If you want to run a business then run one, take persoanl time after you have worked so many hours a day. Not one purse every 3 weeks 

Im not sure how long it actually takes to make a purse but Im pretty sure it isnt 3 weeks LOL. I would be asking for my money back, there is a lady on post here that makes them. I have seen her work and ordered one about 2 weeks ago from her. Shes very friendly and does great work, but right now she said she is booked but If I were you I would be looking into her. If you want her info just send me a message and Ill give it to you.

Did you send her money thru paypal or a money order? Cause you have up to 45 days to file a claim to get your money back is seller is unresponsive to you. Just for future reference to anyone who uses it :)

I totally understand where you are coming from. Instead of doing all those games she could be using that time to catch up on orders. I would go ahead and ask for my money back and the uniforms and find someone else to do it for you. I have heard of a few people on fb taking so long on orders that it goes over the 45 days you have to claim thru paypal and they end up out the money and no product. It just shows that she has lack of concern for her customers. I know ACUnique has awesome purses, but I am not sure her wait time and all that.

I have a fb business page and I always keep my customers updated when their item is done, when it is shipped, and if I have to order something I don't have in stock I also let them know when it is ordered and when it comes in. I don't like to be left hanging and neither does anyone else. Good luck and I hope it works out for you! 

There is a lady that makes them that is awesome. She is in Oregon though but used to live here. Even from Oregon I had mine within 8 days that included shipping.I can also give you her information also. She does great work. 

Thanks ladies! I emailed her and told her I wanted my money back and uniform. She said I will need to pay for the return shipping and she wants to take 10% for "holding a place" for me. I did pay thru paypal

I make ACU purses as well and it doesnt take near three weeks to make a purse a week at most especially when the money has been paid, and I personaly wont take money until im ready to work on the purse, and im here local on fort. Riley. curious what did she charge you? 

She was charging 55 for a large purse and matching wallet. The purse had the name tapes and the rank on the front, and on the sides were the velcro patch pockets and it had a zippered top. Then the wallet was zippered and had velcro for name tape. 

I would ask for my money back too. I make them also and theres no way it takes 3 weeks for one purse. It takes a little longer when you have several orders but she should tell you that up front. I always let my customers know a time frame when they order.
