After seeing the links for the purses, I got to thinking about how my husband and I need to get mother's day things for his mother and 2 grandmothers... after looking at flower arrangements I think they are unpractical seeing as they die and all.
I was hoping to maybe find something that might be customizable and have to do the the whole Army bit. The purses, like I said are adorable but more than we want to spend per person...
Any suggestions?

Scentsy products are wonderful gifts, but if you want them in time for Mother's Day I would recommend ordering ASAP. http://www.scentsy.com/michellemae :)

It seems to be a bit more pricy than we were aiming for. Since we have to buy for so many (also my grandmother which I didn't add, and the husband is buying something for me) it's difficult to spend much on each person. The cheapest flowers I found were $20 each arrangement.. but I think flowers are silly considering they don't last forever. I'd really liek to get something for his mom and grams that have to do with him being in the Army.

I should have said thank you though, I apologize! The stuff is beautiful on there, something I'd ask for him to buy for just me :)

How about a picture of the two of you in a nice frame ... Him all dressed up in his uniform? :) It is personal, inexpensive and something all parents and grandparents enjoy.

No problem no offense taken and I completely understand. Just wanted to throw that out there. Not to be pushy by any means, but in case you didn't see under the combine and save there is a plug in warmer and 3 scents of your choice for $25, $25 gift cards, and the tins and air fresheners are a little less. Hmmm I have no idea what to suggest to do with him being in the army. I know there is a company that does plaques with pictures, so possibly a picture of him in uniform and a message of what they mean to him on it. I pretty sure those are pretty pricey though. I'll have to give that some thought and if I happen to think of anything I'll let you know.

I think the picture frame is a great idea. I do that for my family for christmas. I sometimes even get creative and get a 5x7 photo frame with a 4x6 picture and decorate the extra space with nice scrapbook stickers or words or something. They always really like it.

I like the frame idea. You can decorate the frame for cheap!I would hit Hobby Lobby or JoAnns for stuff

The frame idea is a wonderful idea. But he's deployed right now. :( So it'd be hard to get good photos of him. I told him to possibly to go to the jewelry shop in Iraq and mail stuff back. :)

A great site that you can personalize your gifts for really cheap is artscow.com. I love this site! I made aa purse for my mom and gma with my kids pictures on it and only paid $6 each thanks to the coupons they had. They are really nice and turned out awesome!
