Does anyone have an exact list of dogs that are unauthorized on post? I know some dogs are grandfathered in, but I am looking at getting a dog, and I can't find a list online? THANKS!

HA! found it on the news...lol This is from Feb.09 when they started it. Starting February first, pit bulls, rottweilers, doberman pinschers, chows and wolf hybrids are not allowed on post. They cannot be owned by people living in the post's residential housing or brought in by visitors. Any dog exhibiting aggressive behavior is also banned. The post describes such conduct as unprovoked barking, growling, or snarling at people approaching the animal, aggressively running along fence lines when people are present, biting or scratching people and escaping confinement or restriction to chase people. In addition, exotic animals, including but not limited to reptiles, ferrets, hedgehogs, pot bellied pigs, monkeys, arachnids and farm animals are prohibited in Fort Riley's residential housing. Residents who currently own such pets may keep them, unless behavior becomes an issue. Fort Riley garrison commander Col. Richard Piscal says the safety of all Fort Riley residents is the overriding concern for the policy.

When they say Dobermans they mean the bigger breed meant to be guard dogs. Min pins are allowed, lol.
