Tell us about the best vacation you have ever had. Where did you go Who was with you What did you do Describe why it was so great for you 

Jason's second deployment during his R&R we went to Destin, FL. our hometown is like 1 1/2 hr from there so we love destin. I had kayla and had lost the weight and just turned 21 so we got a awesome condo thing for a week and stayed there. Went to the bar at the hotel and my husband was talking about being home for r&r and the bartender only charged us like 20 bucks for drink when it was like atleast 200. So awesome he was cool. We went to the beach and we fished and shopped. I ate gator tail for the first time, taste like chicken by the way. Just we really had a great time and have never done that for ourselves so it was just awesome. Plus destin is breath taking. 

I agree, when we were stationed at Rucker we went several times. =0)

My family went to Jackson Gap Alabama and we attended Camp ASCCA Alabamas Special Camp for Adults and Children, its an adaptive camp so that people with special needs can do everything a regular camper can. There was water skiing, horseback riding, a zip tower, scavenger hunts, and camp food! It was AMAZING! They have different camps every month but this was an "Operation Purple" Camp called healing adventures, and it was all wounded service members and their families! It was such an amazing hunbling experience, to be in the presence of all the war heroes and their families! Everyone was just like us, they knew our struggles, and though everyone was different, we were all the same there. 

Mine is a toss up. Last new year's hubby and I went to Vegas with a bunch of friends for 4 days. it was such a good time! We had an awesome hotel room, ate really great food, good company, and some much needed alone time. there's really nothing like NYE in Vegas! In December, we took the kids to Disney World/Sea World for a week and it was so much fun and magical and was priceless to see the kids light up and just have a genuinely awesome time there.
