I have this issue too, and I like almost 3 hours away. Vinegar usually helps with ours though, but like you said only for a short time.

This is wonderful! I was raised by my Grandma and we actually still live together (we come as a pair!) I don't know what I would do without her and she feels the same. People need to have more respect...

And just to clarify my post was not intended for sympathy, advice, or judgement. Just answering the question/title and saying that I have an issue with this too.
